Personally:
A Latina from Argentina, I am passionate about helping women gain confidence in their bodies and the gym. As a mother, I know just how difficult it is to make time for ourselves, but also how vital and beneficial it can be, not only for our own wellbeing, but for that of our loved ones. I believe that leading a healthy and active life sets a positive example for the future generations we are raising. We can be so strong!
I grew up dancing and learning about my body through movement. I was very shy as a kid, and words were hard for me. Dance was a way to express my inner strength and joy for life, my connection with existence, with feeling present here and now. I could say a lot without using a word. Only the power of my body.
I trained in dance for 20 years. It’s part of who I am, of my essence. Dance taught me to feel and understand my body, and to teach movement to others, to transmit that ability to feel and express.
In my life as a migrant in Australia, and after becoming a mother, I decided it was time to reconnect with my passion for movement, physicality, and training. I started my studies as a personal trainer, and the world of the gym opened up to me.
Lifting weights? Functional movement? It was beautiful to discover movement for everyday life. Strength training to improve quality of life. Training for health. A new and fascinating aspect for me.
I had to learn it all with my postpartum body and 2 years into my motherhood journey.
In the first year as a mum, my body was consumed. The lack of sleep, the lack of time to eat, the demand for that little person who depended on me, caused me to lose weight, muscle, and strength. My body was aching from all the carrying and breastfeeding. My core was weak and I had diastasis recti.
When it became possible to regain some of my personal time, training in the gym helped me recover my body from pregnancy. I reconnected with my physical strength, my mobility, and my muscles, which I now understand are important for the health of my bones and joints, to maintain the quality of life as I grow older.
Now, at 36, I am dedicated to helping women in their 30s to move their bodies with purpose, not only for aesthetic reasons, but to build a strong body as they go through their own journeys of pregnancy, motherhood and transition into perimenopause.
A Latina from Argentina and a passionate trainer who helps women in their 30s connect with their strength and confidence in their bodies through positive and purposeful movement and exercise.
Did you know muscle mass decreases approximately 3-8% per decade after the age of 30? The decrease is even steeper for women due to the hormonal changes brought by our transition into menopause.
Strength training (yes, lifting weights!) helps your body feel strong and agile, and ready to keep up with your busy schedule and life commitments. At Move in Tune, I aim to guide women in balancing fitness with life’s transitions and introduce lifestyle strategies to build a strong, functional body that aligns with YOU.
As a mother, I know how hard it can be to make time for ourselves, but I believe that caring for our health and well-being is a gift to ourselves and to those we love.
If you care about your health and want to feel confident in your body, regain your sense of self and be supported in your journey, I’m here for you!
